The Brief
BGL is the UK's biggest consumer insurance broker with more than 8 million customers. BGL selected one of Derwent's iconic Developments - The White Collar Factory - which possesses an industrial aesthetic both inside and outside. Each of BGL's brands has its own unique heritage and personality, the two which are widely recognised being Comparethemarket.com and BeagleStreet.com - this was taken into consideration with the design.
The Outcome
Stanway completed the fit-out within The White Collar Factory building for BGL. Leisure and breakout spaces were vital within the new HQ, with the installation of specialist finishes to flooring, walls and acoustics, all with exposed M&E services. Vinyl & resin flooring was installed throughout the main footfall areas, with specialist carpet to the executive meeting rooms. A games area with snooker table, ping-pong and tea-point was also created. Bespoke joinery throughout including leather clad seating booths, reception desk, solid and glazed partitions, IT, AV and data.
