The Brief
Hikma pharmaceuticals is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world. Hikma relocated their head office to The Crown Estates, 1 New Burlington Place. Built behind a Grade II listed Regent Street frontage 1 New Burlington Place has regenerated a historic block to meet its modern occupiers’ expectations. Working closely with the client and designers, JAC, we delivered a vibrant collaborative work space to reflect Hikma's culture.
The Outcome
Hikma wanted to inject some 'fun' into their office space by providing a gaming area featuring a pool table to boost team morale. In addition to this, Hikma took into consideration their staff's mental health and included a wellness room, reading and relaxation area and a prayer room. Also included were flexible seating areas and break-out spaces, various meeting rooms, feature tea-point, offices with Crittall glazed partitioning and solid partitioning. Bespoke joinery, new AV, built in feature lighting, carpet and wood flooring with new MEP services were fashioned to suit the new layout.
