The Brief
Kobalt, a global music empire, selected space within The River Building for their new HQ. The River Building is a unique and self-contained office building in central London, making it an ideal location for Kobalts clients and artists alike as it is served by 6 underground lines. Kobalt required a variety of spaces including music studios, demo rooms, meeting spaces and collaborative areas that inspire creativity.
The Outcome
Stanway delivered a full high-spec CAT B for Kobalt within a very tight programme. It featured high performance acoustics, executive meeting suites, boardroom, listening demo rooms and flexible break-out areas. Bespoke joinery, floor finishes with a bespoke canteen and drinks bar which created a social hub for both formal and informal gatherings. Full M&E works with new exposed services were incorporated and feature lighting throughout the office space. This was successfully completed with furniture, biophilic design and creative graphic branding throughout.
