The Brief
New HQ for the creative architectural design company, Space Lab. Spacelab deliver human-centred design solutions for their clients. They required a co-working hub, multi-functioning space encouraging flexibility, facilitates movement and fosters collaboration through a variety of strategically placed work & breakout spaces.
The Outcome
Stanway delivered a large atrium space created via a structural opening in the middle of the floor, followed by formation of a staircase to link both floors together. Other works included exposed building services, bare concrete pillars, bespoke joinery and feature lighting. Built in storage, micro screed flooring, AV and projectors were created alongside various meeting rooms, solid and glass partitioning, open-plan working and a collaborative space with a variety of flexible and touch down hot desking areas. A tea-point completed the job with high end finishes used throughout. This was an extremely fast-tracked project with little room for error, therefore Stanway worked closely with Spacelab throughout the life-cycle of the project to ensure successful delivery.
