The Brief
?What If! is a business management consultant that specialises in innovative solutions and strategy's for clients marketing and branding needs. They required structural and fit-out works within two conjoined Grade II Listed buildings at The Glassworks, based in the West End. They had a focus to reduce the carbon footprint, and implement an agile way of working within a workspace that represents their strong brand and culture.
The Outcome
Stanway helped transform their office space by firstly, stripping back the building and carefully reinstating the inherent qualities and character of The Glassworks building. Concrete slab demolition work was done to increase visibility between the different levels with the construction of a feature staircase to assist the spontaneous interactions between staff and to brighten the space, before it was added. In addition, Stanway inserted new steel beams and multiple atrium openings to produce more natural light. This was followed by a complex fit-out that included tea-points, breakout space, bespoke joinery, feature lighting, meeting spaces, quiet working areas, unique art pieces and bold splashes of colour. This delivered a stunning outcome that embodied their brand reflecting and inspiring creativity.
